This is the first selection of about 100 hundred loop tracks I've been doing from January to May 2014 all based in the same principle. These songs are totally made from sequencing samples from different sources as a basic principle of composition. This is really a Collage Pieces Record and doesn't stand for one specific kind of musical style. I would say some tracks can be remote compared with Curd Duca which is already a not very wide known project, but it's much more diverse - doesn't even seek a specific kind of musical style. Yet there's a unity that comes from the composition process which is totally sampling and looping based. Must of the songs are instrumental but some do have vocals samples also. I bet someone who knows the original recordings will make an easy recognition of most of the sources.
The Record Cover is, for those who know the reference, also easy to relate with an existing cover designed by Joseph Albers for Command Records in the beginning of the sixties. However the main image is from a painting / installation also made by me in 2013. It's basically the photograph of this art piece displayed on a gallery in Lisbon when was exhibited in 2013 that determines the sleeve design, complemented by the tittle that is also close from the ones used in that same record I have mentioned before.

I will upload at least fifteen tracks associated with this edition - when you see it has 15 songs you'll know the record is complete.
In all original songs the duration is very short from 1'30'' to a maximum of 3 minutes each one. But in many cases I've did extended versions and sometimes they reach up to 7 minutes duration. This record still includes a few nem songs based exactly on the same composition process (all of them are correctly dated - since I had the date in the file itself).

Besides my Artist activity I always wished I knew how to make a Pop Song or better saying, so close I can get from it - because I hate conventional music. So as a Musician my sound stands in a point that is far, yet close enough to allow me making something similar to a SONG.
